How long is the course?

Most students require between five and six hours to complete the course and pass all of the end of unit quizzes, but course time will vary depending on the student's reading speed and Internet connection. Why do I have to answer personal validation questions (PVQ's)?

During registration, you will be required to answer a number of personal validation questions (e.g. "Have you ever been to Europe?"). You will be asked the same questions again at random points in the course, and you will be required to respond correctly within a certain time. These questions are a security measure used to validate your identity while you are taking the course. If you miss four personal validation questions, you will be disqualified from the course.

What score is required to pass the end of unit quizzes?

You will be required to pass a multiple choice quiz at the end of each unit that consists of five (5) questions. State rule requires a grade of at least 80% to pass (4 of the 5 questions answered correctly). The end of unit quizzes will only test your understanding of material learned during that unit. If you do not pass a quiz, you will be given the opportunity to load a new quiz or review the current unit material before trying again.
